Come Celebrate What God Is Doing—and Discover Where We’re Going Together!

Cornerstone Baptist Church, this is a special Sunday for our entire church family!

We believe God has given us a clear purpose and a compelling vision for the days ahead. Celebration Sunday is an opportunity to come together, hear an encouraging message from Pastor Carl, celebrate the work God has been doing in our lives, honor one another, worship together, and unite in prayer as we move forward.

Our purpose comes directly from the words of Jesus in Matthew 28:19–20:

“Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you; and lo, I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” Amen.

This is our calling: BUILD DISCIPLES.

And as we live out that calling together, our vision is simple:

CHASE. BUILD. COMPASSION.

 

CHASE after God

We want to pursue God wholeheartedly—to know Him, love Him, worship Him, and grow closer to Him.

BUILD disciples

We want to help people grow in their relationship with Jesus, learn His Word, live out His commands, and become disciples who make disciples.

COMPASSION toward our neighbors

We want the love of Christ to move us beyond ourselves—to see people, care for people, serve people, and show the compassion of Jesus to our neighbors and our community.

This is who we are.
This is where we are going.
And we want everyone at Cornerstone to be part of it!

9:30 AM — CELEBRATION BEGINS

Come ready to celebrate, encourage one another, and prepare our hearts for what God has ahead.

9:40–10:15 AM — THE VISION MESSAGE

Pastor Carl will share a fresh, encouraging message about the vision God has placed before Cornerstone.

Come ready to listen, be challenged, be encouraged, and consider:

10:15–10:45 AM — STORIES OF GOD’S WORK

This is your opportunity to speak up and share!

Over the past 90 days, what has God been doing in your life?

Or perhaps someone at Cornerstone has encouraged you, helped you, prayed for you, or helped you take another step in your faith.

Share your story. Encourage someone. Honor someone. Celebrate what God is doing!

Your story may be exactly what someone else needs to hear.

10:45 AM — RESPONSE OF PRAISE & UNITY

We will respond together through singing and worship.

One church.
One purpose.
One vision.
One Lord.

We will lift our voices together in praise and unity.

11:00 AM — THE HEART OF THE VISION

A brief review of “The Heart of the Vision” will remind us why we are CHASING after God, BUILDING disciples, and showing COMPASSION toward our neighbors.

Then we will move into a special time of the Lord’s Supper, remembering Christ and the foundation of everything we do.

11:15 AM — UNITE IN PRAYER & FINAL ANTHEM OF PRAISE

We will close by coming together in united prayer, asking God to lead Cornerstone, empower us by His Spirit, and use us for His purposes.

Then we will lift one final anthem of praise to the Lord!

Cornerstone Baptist Church isn’t just looking for a new program.
