Your First Step Luncheon – Sunday February 5, 2023

WELCOME!
You will learn about Cornerstone Baptist Church and how you can get connected with your neighborhood church.
Thanks for joining us here on our website, we are so glad you want to learn more about Cornerstone Baptist Church and how you can get connected with your neighborhood church. We understand your time is valuable and appreciate that you are investing some of it with us. Our First Step Luncheon last a little over an hour as we share with you a little about us so that you can decide if we are the right fit for you and your family. We want you to know what we are doing, why we do it, and where we are heading.
Even though families who connect to a church do NOT have perfect lives, they are better equipped to deal with all life’s challenges. They CAN do better with their relationships, marriages, parenting, finances, and much, much, more! This is why our goal is to become a neighborhood community center, building up and supporting our neighbors here in Port Saint Lucie.
In our time together we hope to answer any questions you may have. Whether you are just checking us out or choosing to become a member, we are glad that you are taking THE NEXT STEP. There is a great journey ahead for us as we all build our families together!
Call me at (772) 871-1600, or email me at pastorcarl@cbcpsl.church if you have any questions, or register now.

The great Messiah left us here, in this very day, to BE THE LIGHT! He calls us to “let your light shine before others, so that they may see your good works and give glory to your Father who is in heaven.” (Matthew 5:16) It is not what we say, it is what we do that shines brightly and opens the eyes of all who “walk in darkness”. Our neighbors do not see Jesus, nor understand the gospel. But, they understand that giving gifts to their kids, family, and friends is what love is. “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son…” Our neighbors saw love when they came to our fall festival and received our free gifts of friendship, kindness to their children, and food. We were the light when darkness was celebrated. The neighbors who do not know Jesus, but brought shoe boxes to our church for needy kids across the world, saw we love others. We were the light! In December we will continue to be the light of the world. When we take our focus off of our own pleasures and turn our eyes to our neighbors who live in Port Saint Lucie, we shine brightly. “… if you love those who love you, what reward do you have? Do not even the tax collectors do the same? 47 And if you greet only your brothers, what more are you doing than others? Do not even the Gentiles do the same?” (Matthew 5)

Our breakfast feast begins at 9:00 am, but please note, this is NOT a buffet but a sit down meal, so please come on time. While around the table we will continue after we have eaten, with a program with testimonies, special presentations, and words of encouragement.
