    MARCH 5 11:45 AM Your First Step Cornerstone Connection Luncheon (1.5 hours).

    You will learn about Cornerstone Baptist Church and how you can get connected with your neighborhood church. This is offered the first Sunday of the month

    Sunday March 12 is Scout Sunday. Our church has a Scout ministry that meets every Tuesday night on our campus. Pastor Carl is the head of the organization, and each year on scout Sunday we invite the scouts to join us and have a special event which includes worship at our normal 10:30 am time, and then a lunch.

    A SMALLER GROUP OF SCOUTS AND A SIMPLE PIZZA LUNCH INSIDE

    We will be honoring about 10 scouts from the older group this time and expect about 25 guests for this event. Please bring salads and desserts to go along with the pizza, and like our last event we are asking all of our Cornerstone family to stay for lunch, help with hospitality, and love on the scouts and their families. Remember some may be Christians but there are others that will only know we are Christians by our love. Begin praying for them and ask God to reveal Himself to them in a powerful way.

    We need help with setting up chairs and tables, serving, welcoming the families, and clean up.

    Why should I become a member?

    The New Testament instructs us to “assemble” together and to use our gifts to build up our church family. We are not meant to do this on our own. The Bible teaches that our lives are best lived and expressed in the context of community. According to the Bible, pastors are accountable to God for the souls of their people. Our pastors take this responsibility seriously to provide and care for the members through the ministry leaders and ministries of our church. Therefore, it is critical to be able to identify who belongs to the church.
