Pastor Carl (John 10:31-42) September 25, 2022
31 Once again the people picked up stones in order to kill Jesus. 32 But he said, “I have shown you many good things my Father sent me to do. Which one are you going to stone me for?”
33 They answered, “We are not stoning you because of any good thing you did. We are stoning you because you did a terrible thing. You are just a man, and here you are claiming to be God!”
34 Jesus replied:
In your Scriptures doesn’t God say, “You are gods”? 35 You can’t argue with the Scriptures, and God spoke to those people and called them gods. 36 So why do you accuse me of a terrible sin for saying that I am the Son of God? After all, it is the Father who prepared me for this work. He is also the one who sent me into the world. 37 If I don’t do as my Father does, you should not believe me. 38 But if I do what my Father does, you should believe because of that, even if you don’t have faith in me. Then you will know for certain that the Father is one with me, and I am one with the Father.
39 Again they wanted to arrest Jesus. But he escaped 40 and crossed the Jordan to the place where John had earlier been baptizing. While Jesus was there, 41 many people came to him. They were saying, “John didn’t work any miracles, but everything he said about Jesus is true.” 42 A lot of those people also put their faith in Jesus.

Pastor Carl (John 10:27-31) September 18, 2022
27 My sheep hear my voice, I know them, and they follow me. 28 I give them eternal life, and they will never perish. No one will snatch them out of my hand. 29 My Father, who has given them to me, is greater than all. No one is able to snatch them out of the Father’s hand. 30 I and the Father are one.”
Renewed Efforts to Stone Jesus
31 Again the Jews picked up rocks to stone him.
Cornerstone Baptist Church 8th Annual Fall Festival

Your family can’t miss our fun Family Festival this year. It is packed with outdoor fun games, family challenges, a family treasure hunt, bounce houses, and more! On top of that we have food, plus free candy and ice cream will be available for the kids. With an indoor kid movie theater, craft tables, and lots of kid music there will be fun for the whole family. But please don’t scare the little kids. We ask you not to bring bloody, gory, demonic, and witchcraft costumes. Come so the kids can run, jump on bounces, and easily play games. Here are the directions.
For more information call Pastor Carl at (772) 871-1600.
Trunks are “game booths” for games and candy giveaways, and we need your help to make this event a huge success in reaching our neighbors for Christ!
Our goal is to have 20 fun-filled, creative trunks! Simple games like ball toss, ring toss, etc. are encouraged. Here are some game ideas.
The voted best trunk will be our Grand Prize Winner and receive a $25 gift card!
The Fall Festival is on Saturday, October 29th from 3:00pm-6:00pm. We ask that you come between 1:30pm-2:30pm to set up your trunk prior to the event start. Candy will be provided for all trunks, but donations are appreciated.
We ask that our participants keep in mind that our Fall Festival is a family event, and that young children will be in attendance. Therefore, we ask that you refrain from any scary, evil, or violent trunk themes. If you have questions about trunk themes, please contact Pastor Carl, (772) 871-1600 prior to the event. Thank you!
Please ensure you only register yourself to secure the trunk space as the “main trunk contact” and include anyone else as “trunk helpers”, so we know how many people will be at each trunk. You will see this during the registration process.
Pastor Carl (John 10:19-21) September 11, 2022
19 Again the Jews were divided because of these words. 20 Many of them were saying, “He has a demon and he’s crazy. Why do you listen to him?” 21 Others were saying, “These aren’t the words of someone who is demon-possessed. Can a demon open the eyes of the blind?”

WELCOME!
You will learn about Cornerstone Baptist Church and how you can get connected with your neighborhood church.
Thanks for joining us here on our website, we are so glad you want to learn more about Cornerstone Baptist Church and how you can get connected with your neighborhood church. Even though families who connect to a church do NOT have perfect lives, they are better equipped to deal with all life’s challenges. They CAN do better with their relationships, marriages, parenting, finances, and much, much, more! This is why our goal is to become a neighborhood community center, building up and supporting our neighbors here in Port Saint Lucie.
In our time together we hope to answer any questions you may have. Whether you are just checking us out or choosing to become a member, we are glad that you are taking THE NEXT STEP. There is a great journey ahead for us as we all build our families together!

Next Step: Membership Class

Discover the foundational steps to participate in the ministry of Cornerstone. Next Step: New Members Class is on 09/18/2022 at 9:00 am. Register for the class here.
Why should I become a member?
The New Testament instructs us to “assemble” together and to use our gifts to build up our church family. We are not meant to do this on our own. The Bible teaches that our lives are best lived and expressed in the context of community. According to the Bible, pastors are accountable to God for the souls of their people. Our pastors take this responsibility seriously to provide and care for the members through the ministry leaders and ministries of our church. Therefore, it is critical to be able to identify who belongs to the church.
