Isaiah 14: The Fall of Lucifer

12 “How you are fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! How you are cut down to the ground, You who weakened the nations! 

13 For you have said in your heart:

‘I will ascend into heaven,
I will exalt my throne above the stars of God;
I will also sit on the mount of the congregation On the farthest sides of the north;
14 I will ascend above the heights of the clouds,
I will be like the Most High.’ 15 Yet you shall be brought down to Sheol, To the lowest depths of the Pit.

16 “Those who see you will gaze at you, And consider you, saying:
‘Is this the man who made the earth tremble,
Who shook kingdoms,
17 Who made the world as a wilderness And destroyed its cities,
Who did not open the house of his prisoners?’

18 “All the kings of the nations, All of them, sleep in glory, Everyone in his own house; 19 But you are cast out of your grave
Like an abominable branch, Like the garment of those who are slain, Thrust through with a sword, Who go down to the stones of the pit, Like a corpse trodden underfoot.
20 You will not be joined with them in burial, Because you have destroyed your land And slain your people. The brood of evildoers shall never be named. 21 Prepare slaughter for his children Because of the iniquity of their fathers, Lest they rise up and possess the land, And fill the face of the world with cities.”

22 “For I will rise up against them,” says the Lord of hosts, “And cut off from Babylon the name and remnant, And offspring and posterity,” says the Lord.

The Lord of hosts has sworn, saying, “Surely, as I have thought, so it shall come to pass, And as I have purposed, so it shall stand: 25 That I will break the Assyrian in My land, And on My mountains tread him underfoot.

12 “Son of man, sing this funeral song for the king of Tyre. Give him this message from the Sovereign Lord:

“You were the model of perfection, full of wisdom and exquisite in beauty. 13 You were in Eden, the garden of God.
Your clothing was adorned with every precious stone — red carnelian, pale-green peridot, white moonstone, blue-green beryl, onyx, green jasper, blue lapis lazuli, turquoise, and emerald— all beautifully crafted for you and set in the finest gold.

They were given to you on the day you were created. 14 I ordained and anointed you as the mighty angelic guardian.

You had access to the holy mountain of God and walked among the stones of fire.

15 “You were blameless in all you did from the day you were created until the day evil was found in you. 16 Your rich commerce led you to violence, and you sinned. So I banished you in disgrace from the mountain of God. I expelled you, O mighty guardian, from your place among the stones of fire.

17 Your heart was filled with pride because of all your beauty. Your wisdom was corrupted by your love of splendor. So I threw you to the ground and exposed you to the curious gaze of kings. 18 You defiled your sanctuaries with your many sins and your dishonest trade. So I brought fire out from within you, and it consumed you. I reduced you to ashes on the ground in the sight of all who were watching. 19 All who knew you are appalled at your fate. You have come to a terrible end, and you will exist no more.” (See Rev 12-19)

Revelation 12 Satan Thrown Out of Heaven (middle of the last 7 years)

4 His tail drew a third of the stars of heaven and threw them to the earth.

7 And war broke out in heaven: Michael and his angels fought with the dragon; and the dragon and his angels fought, 8 but they did not prevail, nor was a place found for them in heaven any longer. 9 So the great dragon was cast out, that serpent of old, called the Devil and Satan, who deceives the whole world; he was cast to the earth, and his angels were cast out with him.

1/ As far as we know the angelic creatures are indestructible, they can’t be killed or destroyed.

2/ They travel the universe effortlessly, with no spaceships.

3/ They seemingly never rest, or sleep, or even need to eat.

4/ Each of the angels we read about in God’s Word has power that exceeds anything we can humanly understand as possible by the laws of the physical world that we know.

The Intermingling of the invisible Wicked Angels and Humanity

1/ Some use their intellect to confuse, twist, and lie to deceive all people.

Revelation 20:3
“and he cast him into the bottomless pit, and shut him up, and set a seal on him, so that he should deceive the nations no more till the thousand years were finished. But after these things he must be released for a little while.

Revelation 20:8
and will go out to deceive the nations which are in the four corners of the earth, Gog and Magog, to gather them together to battle, whose number is as the sand of the sea.

Romans 11:7
What then? Israel has not obtained what it seeks; but the elect have obtained it, and the rest were blinded.

2 Corinthians 3:14
But their minds were blinded. For until this day the same veil remains unlifted in the reading of the Old Testament, because the veil is taken away in Christ.

whose minds the god of this age has blinded, who do not believe, lest the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine on them.

2/ Others fight with their supernatural strength to stop God’s will and battle God’s messengers

3/ Others use their power to force people to worship them as gods. They have power to kill, destroy, and do miracles.

Job 1:12-18 And the Lord said to Satan, “Behold, all that he has is in your power; only do not lay a hand on his person.”

Leviticus 17:7  They shall no more offer their sacrifices to demons, after whom they have played the harlot. This shall be a statute forever for them throughout their generations.” ’

Deuteronomy 32:17 They sacrificed to demons, not to God, To gods they did not know, To new gods, new arrivals That your fathers did not fear.

2 Chronicles 11:15 Then he appointed for himself priests for the high places, for the demons, and the calf idols which he had made.

Psalm 106:37 They even sacrificed their sons And their daughters to demons,

4/ Others possess individuals causing sin, disease, blindness, mental breakdowns, etc
Matthew 4:24 Then His fame went throughout all Syria; and they brought to Him all sick people who were afflicted with various diseases and torments, and those who were demon-possessed, epileptics, and paralytics; and He healed them.

Matthew 8:16  Many Healed in the Evening
When evening had come, they brought to Him many who were demon-possessed. And He cast out the spirits with a word, and healed all who were sick…

Matthew 8:28,31,33 Two Demon-Possessed Men Healed
When He had come to the other side, to the country of the Gergesenes, there met Him two demon-possessed men, coming out of the tombs, exceedingly fierce, so that no one could pass that way… So the demons begged Him, saying, “If You cast us out, permit us to go away into the herd of swine.”… Then those who kept them fled; and they went away into the city and told everything, including what had happened to the demon-possessed men.

Matthew 9:32-34  A Mute Man Speaks As they went out, behold, they brought to Him a man, mute and demon-possessed. And when the demon was cast out, the mute spoke. And the multitudes marveled, saying, “It was never seen like this in Israel!” But the Pharisees said, “He casts out demons by the ruler of the demons.”

Matthew 10:8 “Heal the sick, cleanse the lepers, raise the dead, cast out demons. Freely you have received, freely give.

Matthew 11:18 For John came neither eating nor drinking, and they say, ‘He has a demon.’

Matthew 12:22  A House Divided Cannot Stand
Then one was brought to Him who was demon-possessed, blind and mute; and He healed him, so that the blind and mute man both spoke and saw.

Ephesians 6:12 For we do not wrestle against flesh and blood, but against 

principalities, (national level)

against powers, 

against the rulers of the darkness of this age, 

against spiritual hosts of wickedness in the heavenly places.

FALSE RELIGION

Matthew 15:9 And in vain they worship Me, Teaching as doctrines the commandments of men.’ ”

2 Corinthians 10:3-6 Fight The Invisible Enemy!

 3 For though we walk in the flesh, we do not war according to the flesh. 

4 For the weapons of our warfare are not carnal but mighty in God for pulling down strongholds, 

5 casting down arguments and 

every high thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of God, 

bringing every thought into captivity to the obedience of Christ, 6 and 

being ready to punish all disobedience when your obedience is fulfilled.
